Security software applications from companies that are not Aura Antivirus may cause an issue with your Aura Antivirus including expired or trial versions. - Open the start menu or use the search bar and type Control Panel.
- Click on Control Panel
- Go to Programs & Features or Uninstall a Program
- Scroll down to the program you wish to uninstall and click on it once
- Then click Uninstall
- Click Yes when prompted
- Then follow any prompted provided.
- Wait for the uninstallation to complete
- If prompted to Restart, choose Yes.
- If you are still seeing remnants of your old antivirus software on your computer, scroll down and use one of the antivirus removal tools.
Windows 8/8.1
